Microsoft on February 4, 2014 named Satya Nadella as only the third CEO in 38 years, after Bill Gates and Steve Ballmer. Nadella is heading the Cloud Computing division, and his ascendancy reflects a subtle shift in Microsoft's strategic direction from the focus on personal computers to the increasing focus on mobile and cloud technology and services.
